It’s our belief that by working together communities and young people are inspired to build a better future. We rely on our teams of dedicated volunteers to help us achieve our vision of a global community working to build a sustainable future.
On an expedition in Borneo you will focus on the following areas:
- Providing access to safe water and sanitation
- Protecting vulnerable environments
- Building resilient communities
- Developing the leadership of our volunteers
As a volunteer on a Raleigh expedition you have the opportunity to take part in community, environment and adventure projects. You’ll be working in teams of around 12-14 and you’ll be supported by at least 2 volunteer managers.
You could work alongside a remote, rural community on a development project on the community phase, help preserve natural habitats and wildlife on the environment phase or challenge yourself to become a leader on the tough adventure phase.
